This article lists out all of the reasons why a patient account is unable to be deleted. We often see that some of our members are seeking to remove patients from their accounts due to space, duplicate patients, and inactivity.
If you are unable to delete a patient account, it is due to one of the following reasons:
- The patient has billing history:
If a patient has billing history, the system will not allow you to delete the patient account. If you have duplicate patient accounts that need to be merged, please click HERE. - The patient has an active email campaign:
If the patient is assigned to an email campaign that has not yet been completed, they will not be able to be deleted until the campaign has been stopped. To learn how click HERE. - The patient has an email history:
If the patient has any email history, the system will not allow you to delete the patient account. To learn how view patient email history click HERE. - The patient is attached to a plan:
If the patient is attached to a care plan, they will not be able to be deleted. - The patient has Wellness Reports attached:
You are not able to delete a patient that has a Wellness Report attached.
