If you have a patient whose Credit/Debit Card or Bank account has been changed, updated, or expired, you can change their billing information on file at any time.
Step 1: When logged in to your Cash Practice account, click on the lock icon in the top-right region to access the Billing Vault shortcut
Step 2: Type in the patients first or last name → select the patient record from the drop-down menu → then click [Search].
Step 3: This will then load the patients billing vault and display the card(s)/bank account(s) securely stored on file. Locate the card/bank account you need to edit and click on the [Edit] button.
Step 4: Edit your patients billing information and click [Save Changes to Card On-File] (or [Save Changes to Bank On-File]).
Note: If your patients form of billing is connected to an active auto-debit, the system by default will have a box checked (see yellow box), alerting you that it will automatically update the billing information for that auto-debit.
