IMPORTANT!
Ethernet Setup Requires:

An open Ethernet port near the computer you will be using the terminal at. If you do not have an open port, then you can purchase a Gigabit Ethernet Network Switch from your local electronics store or HERE from Amazon.
The terminal does NOT come with an Ethernet cable (CAT 5 Ethernet),  however, you likely have several around the office, as they're the same cords you use to connect the internet from the wall to your computer.  If you need one, then please purchase one at your local electronics store.
The terminal comes with a phone cable for connecting to a phone line. This is not the same as a CAT 5 Ethernet cable.

If you're going to connect the terminal via an Ethernet cable, then be sure you're connecting the cable to the LAN port on the underside of the terminal as seen below:

When the Ethernet cable has been successfully connected to the LAN port, then the terminal home screen should display "POS Online".

Important: The terminal must be on a 24-hour clock in order to properly auto-batch

Example: 1:00 pm on a 24-hour clock would be displayed at 13:00.
