Importing patient info into your CashPractice.com account may include the patient's [Home Address], not their [Billing Address].

The reason why the [Home Address] is not carried over as the [Billing Address] is due to security reasons, as the billing address should match the address the patient has on file with the bank (and their credit card statements).

Most of the time the billing address is the patient's home address, but we cannot assume the risk, which may result in the card possibly being declined and/or a higher processing fee.

The good news is that you only need to enter the billing address once, and it will be saved for future use.

Scripting to ask your patient for the billing address:

"John, for security purposes, is your home address the same address that your bank mails your credit card statements to for the card we have on file for your payments?"
