A hand dynamometer tool is used to measure isometric grip force (handgrip strength). Some versions use hydraulics to measure the force while others use electronic load cells. Once the grip position is adjusted, the user holds the handle in the weak hand and squeezes the handle 3 times. You would then collect the average of the 3 squeezes in kilograms & enter this into the Wellness Score. The overall score once entered is determined by both age and gender.
For example, the left hand is weaker and is measured 3 times - 25kg, 20kg & 22kg. Take the ave of the 3 and enter that value - 22.3kg.
