Announced 2/2/17: PCI Requirements require us to maintain the highest security standards. For this reason, we will no longer be able to allow older browsers and operating systems access to CashPractice.com as they have been shown to have security issues. Cash Practice® Systems take full advantage of many new web technologies to do what it does. Modern web browsers (like Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge) provide the features that we need to respond to input instantly and perform heavy computations quickly.
Older web browsers and OS (such as Internet Explorer, which has been retired by Microsoft) do not have the same capabilities, which causes several kinds of problems:
- Some features just don't work at all.
- Many features will work but are much slower or less responsive (e.g. the system won't allow you to click anywhere while a graph is updating).
- It requires a lot of time to keep every new feature working on older browsers and limits what we can do. We think that time is better spent improving the experience for users on the browsers that do work well with Cash Practice® Systems.
- If your browser or OS is unsupported, there are several free options that you can install. We recommend you install the latest versions of:
- Chrome (available for all computers, and recommended for Android devices)
- Firefox (available for all computers)
- Safari (already installed on OSX/macOS devices)
- If you are at work, or in another setting where you cannot install new software, talk to your IT department about upgrading the browsers, OS, or device.

CHIROTOUCH® USERS:
The minimum requirements for ChiroTouch®-to-Cash Practice® integration are:
- Windows 7: Internet Microsoft Edge
Windows 7 will still work for connecting to CashPractice.com, however, in order for the ChiroTouch® integration to connect you need to have Microsoft Edge.
