To be PCI compliant you are required to complete PCI certification through a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA). Our processing bank, Paya, has partnered with Aperia / WorkWell to provide an easy solution for your PCI Certification. While we highly recommend that you use Aperia / WorkWell, you can use any QSA that you want.
The benefits of using Aperia/ WorkWell is that they automatically send your updated PCI certificate to our processing bank every quarter. We also created a guide that will walk you through registration and certification through Aperia. (If you go through another company we will not be able to assist with their certification process or help with any questions). Click HERE for a breakdown of the annual PCI fees through Aperia.
If you already have an existing PCI certificate (or want to use a different PCI company other than Aperia), please see below:
- STEP 1 - Confirm the PCI Compliance company is a Qualified Security Assessor - click HERE. Enter the name of the PCI company and confirm they are on this list. If they are on the list, proceed to step 2.
- STEP 2 - Send your existing PCI "CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE" to Cash Practice (this should include the Questionnaire "SAQ" Version and Vulnerability Scan, if applicable). Our fax number is (877) 291-5825 OR you can upload the certificate. Click HERE for instructions on sending us a secure file. Always include your Cash Practice Systems Account # on any correspondence.
After your existing PCI Certificate has been verified and approved by our processing bank, Paya, your compliance profile status will be updated. You will also qualify for an adjusted annual PCI fee.
**IMPORTANT** In order to maintain your compliance with our processing bank, you will need to send us an updated PCI Certificate of Compliance each time that your certification expires (this could be every 3 months of every year based on the type of questionnaire "SAQ" you completed).
If Cash Practice does not receive a copy of your updated PCI certificate, your merchant account will be assessed a $15 penalty fee each month until the updated certificate is received.
