This article is for offices using the auto-sync feature with Cash Practice and ChiroTouch. If you do not have this and are interested, please email us at support@cashpractice.com.

Eliminate manual posting and save valuable time by syncing payments from Cash Practice into ChiroTouch! This will also ensure your patient's ledgers are up to date with the processed transactions from your Cash Practice account. All of your one-time payments should be run through your patient's ledgers in ChiroTouch. Any scheduled auto-debits, voids, refunds, online payments (including any declined payments that the patient reprocessed on their own) and any other payments run through Cash Practice will be synced from Cash Practice and uploaded into ChiroTouch. 

For the Auto-Sync to be initiated: 


Step 1: To have the auto-sync occur, you must first log out of ChiroTouch on ALL computers daily. This is usually done at the end of the day. 

Step 2: Log in to ChiroTouch. The moment you log back into ChiroTouch after ALL computers were logged out, it will trigger the auto-syncing to begin.  Payments will auto-sync within 15 minutes. 

To manually trigger Sync without leaving ChiroTouch:

We recommend to do this at the end of every business day so that any refunds, voids, or online payments will sync and post by the end of your business day. This can also be done instead of logging out of ChiroTouch on all computers and logging back in. 

Step 1: From the ChiroTouch Front Desk → Patient Management → Access any patient ledger.

Step 2: From the ledger, select the [Tools] button. This will load a menu to the left where you will select the [Cash Practice] button.

Step 3: A new window will pop open and you will click on the [Sync All Payments] button. This will scan your CashPractice.com account for any transactions that have not yet been imported/ synced.

Step 4: You will receive an alert of how many transactions were loaded to your ChiroTouch account. Review any corresponding client ledgers to confirm correct posting.

IMPORTANT for offices using this feature:

  • Sync all refunds/voids daily! Include syncing as part of your end-of-day procedures or end of adjusting shift duties
  • Each computer with ChiroTouch MUST be logged out of ChiroTouch each night for automatic syncing to work
  • The action of the first person to sign into ChiroTouch each morning will trigger the automatic syncing. Please wait up to 15 minutes for the two programs to communicate and get payments posted
