I am an account user who created another user account, Why can't I give them permission to something?

If you are an account user, who has set up another user account, and you are trying to give them permissions to the various tools in the Cash Practice Systems, but you are unable to do so, this article will explain why.

The Admin/Owner always has access to the [My Account] section. The [My Account] tab is where account users are created, and where permissions/login times can be set.  Account users will only have access to the [My Account] section if they are given permission. (Click HERE). This is done in cases where an office manager needs to be able to create new account users, edit existing user permissions, access Third-Party Software settings, etc. without involving the Admin/Owner.

When an account user is given permissions in the [My Account] section, and they create a new user, they can also be given the ability to set up login times and assign permissions for the user account they created. This is done in the same manner regular permissions are assigned (Click HERE). If a user has not been given permission on a system by the admin, they will not be able to assign that permission to another account user when setting up their permissions. If an account user can create an account user but is not able to assign specific permissions, they must consult with the Admin/Owner, and have them assign their own user account that specific permission, so that they then have the ability to do so themselves.

EXAMPLE:

If the Admin/Owner creates their office manager an account user and gives them access to the [My Account] settings, that office manager can then create account users too. When the office manager is setting up permissions for the account user that they created, they can only give the new account user the permissions that the office manager has access to. In this case, the permissions to Edit and Stop Auto-Debits have been turned off, so this office manager will not be able to give these permissions to other users that they create.
